Should we Root our android devices ??

Hey, guys, this is Raj !!  Welcome to rjkhosla.blogspot.com

You are probably thinking right now should I root my phone or not? well,  you are in right place.

Rooting and unrooting in Android phone is not a big deal but there are some advantages and disadvantages of rooting a smartphone. In the case of iOS, it is known as Jailbreak.  it's 2018 and everyone using smartphones. In current situation technology is gone so far. We are using the smartphone for various purposes. So ultimately smartphone is like a part of our daily life. The maximum lifespan of a smartphone is three to four years. Then after smartphones get slow down over time. In such cases what should we do?

In that case, my friends rooting a phone is useful.  I'm using Samsung Galaxy j7 from 2015. I have rooted my device two years ago and it works fine.  Ok, enough intro let's get into the main motive. There are several  advantages of rooting a device such as ;

ROOTING OFFERS TO UNLOCK HIDDEN FEATURES
Sometimes we don't get some features that we want. Android provides some Limited features through the respective versions in smartphones. For example, my Android version is 4.0(KitKat) then I will not get the features of 6.0(Marshmallow), yes it will only when the hardware of that phones is compatible and if  Android Open Source Project provides the OTA update to that phone officially.

Ok let me clear your doubt, My Samsung j7 stopped getting the update after Marshmallow. When Android 7.0 launched there were some interesting features as compare to Marshmallow.  Google Assistant introduced through Nougat and I was supposed to get that features but didn't. When I rooted my device I was able to install google assistant manually.

Custom ROMs

You can install any firmware that you choose.
The developers for Android I don't even know why they are terrible to release the update.
You have to wait several of months to get the latest update.
You can install custom ROMs and can get the latest features of Android.
I recommend you should use some of the popular ROMs like lineage OS, CyanogenMod ROM, Resurrection Remix ROM, Google pixel ROM, Omni ROM, etc.

Overclocking device

You can overclock your device to get more performance from your Android phone. You can use the app like No-frills CPU Control by accessing the root access. In that way, you can increase your battery life or you can set the interactive governor to get smooth performance and you can decrease your phone's power as well.
Custom Kernels
It can also increase your performance and battery life. There are several Kernels out there,
you have to research to get the right one. If you install the correct kernel in your Android device you can get outstanding battery life. So definitely go and check out some best kernels for your phone

Uninstall bloatware

I absolutely hated most of the Android phones comes with a bunch of preinstalled apps that you never use and you cannot remove those apps. Except for Android one smartphones, all smartphones are not stock Android.
With rooting your device you can either install custom ROMs or uninstall the unnecessary system apps. After this, you can get a clean user interface.

Backup your system

By rooting your devices you can back up your whole system.
For example, Titanium Backup that not only backup your contacts, messages, applications and so much more extensively. not only this there are many applications out there. you just have to do a little bit of research.

Install applications on SD card

If your phone memory is full then you can install a third-party application and by giving root access you can move your applications to SD card.

Swap Phones internal storage

With the help of root, you can actually increase your phone internal memory by swapping your external SD card and this is called adaptable storage.
It can be found in Some of the flagship phones and even some mid-range phones in default.

Infinite customization

With root you can pretty much customize anything that you want in any aspect like you can change keyboard, you can change the look of your notifications, your default camera application, and many more. Basically, when you root your device you get the freedom to do anything on your phone. Why you are buying new phones when with root you are getting the features of latest phones in your old one. With rooting you can keep them fresh looking, fresh behaving just in general amazing phones.
